The current urban plan of Tel Aviv-Jaffa, in the case of Jaffa area, is lacking of a real solution for the older neighborhood which emerged in the two decades following Israel independence. Jaffa C (Gimel) and Jaffa D (Daled) are situated between newer cities like Bat-Yam, and the old city of Jaffa. They are one of many urbanic encapsulations of the israeli modernism, full of concrete blocks and buildings with as much space between them as possible.
The project is opt to suggest a methodic way of handling this type of neighborhoods, taking in account the social differences in israeli society, and mainly in Jaffa.
